My name is Mike Farinaccio and I am the Founder & CEO of Computer Protectors. I'm also a Cybersecurity Engineer with over 12 years of extensive IT experience. My passion for all things cybersecurity led me to pursue a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master's in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance.

Throughout my career, I have obtained several top-level industry certifications from highly accredited security institutions (CISSP, CISM, GCFA, GSTRT, GPCS, Security+, CEH, and CHFI). These certifications have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to handle complex security challenges and stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Currently, I hold the position of Manager of Information Security at a large enterprise, where I specialize in computer protections. My role involves designing, implementing and managing robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data and critical infrastructure. I work tirelessly to ensure that our systems are protected against emerging threats, such as ransomware, phishing, social engineering, viruses, etc.

Aside from my technical expertise, I have a strong passion for education. I believe in empowering both technical and non-technical individuals with the knowledge they need to protect themselves against cyber threats. I love spreading awareness about cybersecurity best practices and talking with individuals about the potential risks they face in today's digital world.

Furthermore, as part of my commitment to the cybersecurity community, I serve on the board of the ISC2 Long Island Chapter. This role allows me to contribute to the development and growth of the cybersecurity field by promoting knowledge sharing, and fostering a sense of community among professionals.
I am excited to share my knowledge, insights, and experiences with you. Whether you are a technical or non-technical individual seeking guidance on protecting your personal information, Computer Protectors is here to help.
